Get Involved
We need lots of help! There are many ways you could help out:
- Donate money through Pay Pal (funds will go towards permits, location rental & marketing expenses)
- Help recruit participants
- Help with planning, PR
- Take pictures / video on event day
- Be / recruit a speaker / musician
- Be / recruit our sponsor
We are also organizing through partnering with other area organizations. It can be anything: a club, a place of worship, a team. Please let us know.

Wow! I’m glad to see that I am not alone here in Frederick County when it comes to an interest in Zero carbon commuting (bike riding) and climate change. Where are you all hiding out though? I only seem to find people that are vaguley interested in the environment. I’ll be at the ride and will hopefully get my company involved as well (the Invitrogen Corp). Please let me know how I can get involved more and where concerned Frederick Citizens get together to discuss, debate, brainstorm or whatever about the environment.

where is everybody? well i hope that the answer is that everyone will be at step it up. yours is a desire–to have a place for on-going discussion on the environment in our area–that many have brought up.
let’s talk about it more at the event. CCAN has talked to us about possibly organizing a Frederick CCAN chapter, so maybe in that way we live on after the event.
